Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ChoreTab app and this website (the “Service”), provided by ChoreTab. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Using the Service
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use ChoreTab. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for the activity that happens under your account.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you add — chores, tasks, expenses, receipts, and notes. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service, including sharing it with the other members of your space.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe others’ rights when using the Service.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Upload malicious code or use the Service to harass other members.
Subscriptions and payments
ChoreTab offers optional paid plans (see our Pricing page), purchased inside the app. Subscriptions and any one-time purchases are sold and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), the seller of record for in-app purchases on each platform. Pricing, billing, renewal, tax, and refunds are handled by the respective store under its terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can manage or cancel yours anytime from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, which are also reachable from in-app settings.
Availability
We work hard to keep ChoreTab running, but the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChoreTab is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
